Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 June 2026
PriceDrop ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using the service you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Your email address — so we can send you the price alerts you request.
- The product links you track and the optional target price you set.
- Price-check data we gather for those products over time (the price history).
- Basic technical logs (such as request times) needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
We use your email solely to send alerts and service messages about products you chose to track. We use the product and price data to build your price-history charts and decide when to alert you. We do not sell your personal data or share it with advertisers.
Email delivery
Alert emails may be delivered through a third-party email provider acting on our behalf. They process your email address only to deliver our messages.
Your choices
- Remove any tracked product at any time from your dashboard.
- Request deletion of your data by contacting us via the contact page.
- Ask what data we hold about you, and we'll tell you.
Data retention
We keep tracking and price data for as long as you keep a product tracked, and remove it when you delete the product or request deletion of your data.
Cookies
PriceDrop stores your email in your own browser (local storage) only so your dashboard loads automatically — it isn't shared with us beyond what's needed to show your products. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
